Brackets are well made. Not much info or YouTube videos for mounting in cars. I have an Infiniti so of course my seat brackets had to be different than most other vehicles. I had to bend the seat mount bracket to a 45 degree angle in order to make it mount properly. So after mounting my Reach 2 sits within about 2 inches from the center console. If I need to unlock and remove the Reach 2 this takes a little finagling. Mainly because of limited space. Overall like the product.
You might need to add some length to the front arm piece. On my 2008 Tahoe, I had to add about 2.5 inches to allow the seat to move forward enough for me to drive. I’m only 5’10” so if you’re tall or like to sit way back, the arm that comes in the kit will suffice.
This is an amazing item that keeps me at ease by securing my weapon when not being carried!!
I believe the seat bolt option for most people is great but for me at 5’5” the bracket itself isn’t long enough in my Jeep JL. I have to put the seat up pretty far. If the plate was longer it would work perfectly. I managed to get it to work with some modifications on my end.
Hi! Our engineers took your feedback and extended the plate- happy to send you the updated version if you would like.
