Install was very easy. I swapped in West Coast Fasteners (WCF) Titanium Screws, Nuts, and Anodized Washers. For added insurance, I also installed the WCF Security Cable and Combination Lock. The customer service from Vara Safety prior to the sale, throughout the sales process, and following has been excellent. I highly recommend their products and will be buying more soon. It's hard to find companies that truly care about their customers and Vara is one of them.
Pretty Good, but not quite as sturdy as I expected. It's a little wobbly.
Brackets are well made. Not much info or YouTube videos for mounting in cars. I have an Infiniti so of course my seat brackets had to be different than most other vehicles. I had to bend the seat mount bracket to a 45 degree angle in order to make it mount properly. So after mounting my Reach 2 sits within about 2 inches from the center console. If I need to unlock and remove the Reach 2 this takes a little finagling. Mainly because of limited space. Overall like the product.
You might need to add some length to the front arm piece. On my 2008 Tahoe, I had to add about 2.5 inches to allow the seat to move forward enough for me to drive. I’m only 5’10” so if you’re tall or like to sit way back, the arm that comes in the kit will suffice.
