I was not sure what to expect when I got my Vara Safe. Honestly, it far exceeded my expectations in its ease of use and how easy it was to install. As a firearms instructor of many years, I am excited to have this to show to my students and something that I would be confident in reccomending this for all of my students to use.
Looks good. Holds the glock nicely. Might give it a 5 of i could mount it. Have the holster but no car mount. Maybe in August.
I purchased this for my 300 Blackout SBR but unfortunately my aftermarket stock will not fit in the base. Its too wide by about 1/8 inch. So I instead put my 5.56 AR in the Vara safe and its sitting in there perfectly. Its appears to be built very well and looks great hanging in my closet. Happy with the product so far and serving its purpose.
Very easy to set up and secure system. It provides the accessibility and security I needed without having to put a massive hole in my drywall for a safe.
The Biometric Safe exceeded my expectations. It's compact, so it doesn't take up much space and fits perfectly in any room. I really like this gun mount. It doesn’t work perfectly for me as I have Bullpup rifle. The locking collar doesn’t fit. But, as far as what I need, a solid place to stage my rifle, it works perfectly.
The rack is sturdy and secure. My biggest problems with the safe is that it can't seem to remember my fingerprints and the bolt heads where the gun stock rests scratch up the shoulder rest.
Very sturdy and much heavier than I thought it would be. Feels very secure mounted to the wall. Releases shotgun quickly and flawlessly every time.
Set this up at my daughters apartment for her AR. Pretty hefty construction and once rifle is locked in it covers the mounting bolts. Longest part is taking the time to fit it how you want but it’s pretty modular and only had to trim rubber on trigger cover since hers has a Magpul bolt release.
The safe is everything it's advertised to be. I have purchased and installed two. One is mounted in my truck and the other one is next to my night stand. The biometric sensor that activates the lock is easy to use and responds quickly. They are safe, secure, and an excellent option for securing a weapon inside a vehicle or home.
Great Design and Quality. I think the design is elegant and efficient. My center console is short, so I am still trying to decide how to mount in my vehicle. I appreciate Vara designing this mount.

I purchased the shotgun safe because I was searching for a minimalist way to secure it underneath the folding back seat. Additionally, I purchased a Type C USB Hard Wire Kit designed for 12V-24V systems, which includes a 5V Hardwire Kit with Low Voltage Protection. This kit connects directly to the truck's fuse box, offering a continuous power supply to the safe. The installation was seamless, and the system operates perfectly. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to securely store a rifle or shotgun in their truck, ensuring both accessibility and safety while maintaining a clean interior.
Really nice gun mount for my shotgun fits perfectly looks great works great. Had to switch it around for left hand, but that worked out well. Overall good purchase.
Great concept, and easy to install. The only issue was that I was not able to adjust the top mount to fit an attached flashlight. On an SBR there was not much room to move the flash light anywhere else.With the flashlight removed, everything fit perfectly. Highly recommended!
