After a proper reset,it has been over a year! Everytime I get in truck I try it and it has been flawless. Very reassuring ,money well spent.

I did a review prior so this is an update. Great product as stated. Had trouble getting my HK 556A4 to unlock as it was creating pressure on the forearm. Customer service reached out and sent me the shotgun style arm. Works fantastic. If you have an AR with a larger forearm or a light kit on the end. Def get the shotgun mount.

Works perfectly for my Beretta 1301, which I’ve been waiting to be able to have easy access for home defense. Easy biometric access with backup keys. I am going to get one for downstairs now too since I know I like it. I gave my 16 year old the challenge of trying to get the gun out before I mounted it to the wall and he couldn’t. Good job great safe.

Instead of locking you AR away, this wall mount locking rack is an amazing way to provide quick access to your firearm and keep it safely restrained from winding up in the wrong hands. I’m very happy with this purchase, my wife, not so much. As it pertains to shipping, they must back order enough to make a production run worth the cost so there may be a wait for your rack - I waiting about 1 month but we all need to learn a little patience. Finally, it has a rechargeable battery.

Opted for the keypad and set to 8 digits. Opens quickly. Very secure. Using foam pads provided, it doesn't budge when locked. While there's no need (nor would I recommend) I'd feel quite comfortable with a shell chambered. Trigger cover and grip adjustability can be very precise. For me, taking time to get all the adjustments just right before tightening down was key in maximizing RACT's capability. Even added thread lock where applicable. Of course, if someone were determined, a chainsaw would set it free.

I love both my Reach handgun safe for my Sig P320, and using a BuiltRight Seat Back Molle System, I just attached my RACT Rifle Safe which securely holds my AR-15. I live in Idaho so this setup is perfectly legal. I just have to drill out the bolts for the Molle System and I will be safe and secure.

Once set up to fit your specific rifle, it's a breeze to install into a stud. Well built and sturdy !

VERY much want the left-handed version! Still, this is mounted on the left underside of my desk, between the leg and the keyboard-tray slide. Than means I have to use my left hand thumb or pointer-finger to trigger the lock. Awkward, but useable. Doubly awkward cause the spring is new and strong (and, I'm guessing, WON'T get any weaker!) when the pop the lock, the gun LEAPS out. Only hit the floor once; I'm sure as I get more used to it, it'll be easier to "catch." And, too, my contractor just finished mounting it -- so I've only used it 2-3 times.

Really REALLY awkward to figure out how to assemble it, lying under the desk and trying to figure out which way and how to get the keyed slide back in place. But then, I'm 70-yr-old woman installing the super little thing and trying out my Kimber Micro in it after the contractor left. I'm very impressed.

Still -- I NEED TWO left-handed versions -- bedside and near front door!

Beyond stoked with my new Riffle Biometric Ract - it fits my modified (flashlight/optics) Ruger PC Carbine perfectly. When deciding, I asked John from customer service a ton of questions - and he responded almost immediately with excellent and helpful answers - what customer service does that these days? Highly recommend the Vara and the Ract.
